A10 user, 12 Jul 2020Used it for a year with android 9 with no problems at all, ... moreI totally agree about the update to "10" being less than useless. Firstly, it makes no sense. Android top number designates a hardware...it should never change on you just the numbers below that. Of course you can force a Television Android onto a phone or whatever but it is not set up for that hardware.
I ignored it for at least 6 weeks but it constantly says the update is required and finally I did it. Oh well live and learn! Only improvement I noted so far is holding the back key down now is somewhat usable. Hmm. How many days before the update came.out did they see that bug? I have 100 others I always scream about but why didn't they ask?
I must add: if get a phone with all Qualcomm you will be happy. They are Apple's secret as well. I have never been able to afford one (I did have s BB with sprint) but if you can afford all Qualcomm then you should get it.

I have only had it about 7 months... but I am pretty happy with the battery life. When I had my On5 I always disabled things like GPS by necessity but now I leave everything on. It was no big deal to switch it on and get google maps to locate me but it is better to not have to worry about it.
Of course you should know how to charge it! I use a powerIQ charger and make sure the volts read 4.35 for a while when charging; when it first says 100% it is no more than 80% of course. I hate how these things can be so easy to overcharge....
Usually after a long day I will have over 50% left.
Procedure to reset battery meter:
Run device until it kicks off on you. This should be done as soon as you buy it....a base charge needs to be there to avoid shelf-destruction of the battery.
Then give it a full 8 hours (6 should get you to 80 and the next 2 to 100) . This deletes the batinfo.dat file and resets your battery meter.

very nice phone for this price big display and smooth experience for daily usage i bought this phone for my dad about 10 months ago beside the cheap body material it's a worthy phone!

it seems like my A10s is killing sim cards, after the android 10 updates it just went to the sheet, should have known Samsung is going to rush the release even if it's not stable.

But when updated to android 10 call application started crashing during calls, proximity sensor switches screen on and off, and sometimes when I press red button to end the call, the call ends but on the screen it appears that the call is still going, seconds and minutes counter still counting... Everything else is alright on android 10

Very good phone good specs for that price. Got one for a year and no problems. Good battery, good camera, just perfect phone for a middle-user.
