I am a samsung lover but this one makes me doubt Samsung now. Phone software is lags, apps are crashing even after powercycling and even reseting. Also had a warranty but still the same issue.

The Samsung Galaxy A12 is a fantastic budget phone and there is nothing to really complain about unless you really want to BUT....... recently my phone AUTO disabled some Samsung apps and restored them to their base installation files which I was fine with as I wasn't using these apps however, what happened next I had a major issue with as within a week I got a phone software update insisting that these apps be reinstalled.
1) I have little control over the way in which Samsung decides their phones should operate and disable apps as they might appear in a message but, Samsung designed the software to make these decisions for the customer
2) I now have to incur extra data charges to run a pretty much forced official phone software update which cannot be disabled [Only delayed]
So, why must I suffer from the way Samsung has programed their phone?

There are basically two types of this A12 which u should know:
1. They are A12 SM- 125F/DS & A12 nacho or A12s SM-127F/DS.
2. SM-125F/DS comes with Android 10 out of the box while that of SM-127F came with Android 11 version out of the box of which both can be upgradable.
3. Their Chipset are different too. SM-125F came with Mediatek 6765 Helio chipset while Nacho SM-127F/DS came with Exynos 850 chipset.
So, before u purchase any A12, make sure u know the differences. And their prices are different too. The nacho cost more than the A12 itself.

Anonymous, 10 Oct 2022This phone is by far the worst ive ever owned, My Samsung A... moreA models are really great. I have been using mine A12s or nacho for seven months now and no issue recorded. The Camera is really great with the upgrade to Android 12. Playing games on it is something else.

This phone is by far the worst ive ever owned, My Samsung A20 was better then this pile and I fully switched to Apple because of this pile, My iPhone 8 is still working strong while my A12 is struggling badly, Takes ages to try and open any apps and I have 4GB of Ram and its Factory Unlocked, Paid $150 for this pile but paid $80 for my iPhone 8 and its 10x better? Makes no sense, The A-Model Samsung have always been terrible, If you are gonna get a Samsung get one of the S-Series cause those are pretty good.

A12 socks and can't do anything I forced to use the a12 just as a Hotspot that I use for my lgg8x witch sucks

Used this phone for a year now ive switched to a better one. It was OK but now its just a back up. Performance isnt amazing too tbh, definitely usable dont get me wrong though
