I would say, don't sign or recontract for this phone. It's fairly inexpensive and there seems to be speaker issues with some buyers here. I personally don't have this issue with my A12 and it's a unlocked model. I will try to help you guys as much on your issues. Good day to you all.

I have seen a couple of fellows stating that their A12 have speaker issues and I believed it's most likely hareware defects. You should contact samsung and ask whether your warranty can cover for a replacement or repair. All the best and good day to you.

Having a case would make this phone very heavy but it would be a fine investment if you want to. You can check out spigen case as they make high end cases for phones and I personally really like their reputation and built of their cases. There's a saying, if it's aint broken, don't fix it. The warranty may be able to cover defects but it's best if you consult them first. As for A22, personally I felt that the difference isn't much of significance. You can never go wrong with either A32 or A22. Take care and good luck in your issue with A12.

Tracy, 19 May 2021I got 2 on contract and I've never had a pile of crap ... moreI got 2 of these phones on contract...at the first week the speaker didn't work!!!at all, and freezes pretty often!!.... then I went to replace it, (covered by the protection plan I am paying) the second phone freezes all the time.. talking, texting, fb, even to open it , I swipe to unlock ... nothing !! sometimes I have to do it 2, 3 times.. this phone is a nightmare, and I got stuck with this for 2 years!! and it's not even a month !!! :(

I'm considering one of these to replace my A3 which I've had for nearly 4 years. I'm concerned it might not be as sturdy, are there good, Heavy Duty cases for these, ideally I'd like one with heavy rubber padding AND a flip cover so I can stash my driving licence in the case. Is that asking too much, there only seems to be chunky rubber military grade covers or flip wallets. Might sound a minor issue, but I'm a clumsy old git and it WILL be hitting the floor. The old A3 has held up well, earned its keep, I don't want to be or care for phone shopping for another couple of years at least. Shall I leap?

This is a budget device, had a bit of an issue when the power connector broke, but that was just a personal problem, wherever you're getting this, make sure you have warrany.
Other than that, 10/10 you get what you pay for.

Husband just bought one amd he cannot get reception anywhere and it s driving him crazy. Its for work, jobs etc. Never had reception problems with his old out of date nokia. We took it back amd the store did an update bit its still the same. Could it be faulty? Thanks

I got 2 on contract and I've never had a pile of crap in my life. It freezes even when your talking. Never again. Brightness and volume goes down. Crap. 0/10

All you guys talking about this phone having problems here and there... FYI this is a entry budget phone, so don't expect crazy build. It works and you can play lightweigh games, battery is very good and it can last the whole day or longer. So please curb your ignorance, have a good day.
