You need to be realistic on reviewing phone. Have the price point in your mind, should not compare a $200 phone with a $1000 phone, right?

But if I press a lil more harder on the particular place of the lcd on the screen, it occurs where the pressure is applied

Screen rippling is it common
When I press the scr... moreDepends how hard you press. If you apply a LOT of pressure then yes, the screen will lose it's colors at this spot and will be back instantly when you remove your finger. This happens to all phones.
If it happens will low to medium pressure though, it may be a defective screen, which warranty should cover anyway.

Screen rippling is it common
When I press the screen little harder i can see some white appear and disappear as I release my hand
Anyone experience this.

I got this about a month ago. There are some issues which with the phone.
1) Double tap to wake, lift screen to wake and smart alert features work intermittently. You need to turn the features off and on to make it work. It will work for a few minutes and then stop.
2) There in always a lag to show caller information when I receive an incoming call. The phone will ring but it take around 3-4 seconds for the display to start showing caller information.
3) Proximity sensor works intermittently. The display will not come on when I take the phone off my ear sometimes. I need to tap the screen or use the volume keys to bring it back on.
I started noticing this about 2-3 days ago. I'm not sure if it happened after the last update. I ran all the diagnostics and all sensors seem to be fine. I'm guessing it's not a hardware issue and probably a future update will fix it. I really hope Samsung makes a note of this. It's a good phone otherwise and worth the price.
