Dee A14, 10 Apr 2023How can I upgrade to 6gb RAMYou cant upgrade this phone. Or almost any phone. You have to purchase the 6GB version which is likely carrier dependant.

This phone is pretty good to use, it has better camera and upgraded selfie camera, it has NFC and compass sensor (this might be useful), the screen resolution is already FHD+. But the phone that i got still using Exynos 850, and only type c to c charging cable is included in the box.

Alright. I finally bought this phone, on April 2, as an upgrade from the unresponsive A03s.
While it is an upgrade, here are some negatives that I have found which I don't think Samsung will be changing soon:
1.) This device does NOT support the "Edge Panel" feature.
So if you have purchased paid Panels from the PlayStore or Galaxy Store, you won't be able to use them on this device.
2.) The "Double Tap to Wake" feature on ALL Galaxy devices does NOT use the proximity sensor.
This device (like every other Galaxy device) senses using the screen. So butt dialling is inevitable.
Workaround: The Galaxy A14 has the "Lift to Wake" feature. So I suggest using that instead of "Double Tap to Wake".
3.) This phone ONLY fast-charges with 15W if the device is turned off. Otherwise it charges at 9.8W max, then goes down to around 6.5W.
(will update when I notice more as I use my Galaxy A14)

Reflex, 08 Apr 2023You do not understand virtual memory nor its use.it depends on size. 512mb to 1gb are just fine. 8gb or larger would stress it out.
