Bro, i have the dimensity 700 version of the galaxy a14 5g but why does it have FM Radio (and also works)? It says here that it's only for Exynos 1330 chipsets only but i have the Dimensity 700 Chipset.

I have a new 64gb/4gb A14 5g I purchased at Walmart and I use it on an AT&T prepaid account. I was surprised it came with facial recognition as that was not noted on the box. I have used low end Samsungs for years, J320, J327 and J337. All of them were reliable and durable, hoping for the same with this one. The physical size of the phone is my only complaint. 6.6 inches is to big. Not everyone watches movies or games on their phone. Other than that the phone works great and has lots of features. The battery lasts a long time. If you are used to having a $1,000 phone you will find this one lacking but if you are accustomed to using a similarly priced phone this one is packed with features. Don't let the naysayers deter you from buying an A14.

H D I G, 25 Dec 2023Oh my god.... Those bezels like why?!As well as the A14's size, thickness, and weight. Borderline tablet. This is what Samsung sticks those who can't afford more with.

In this entire year, Samsung only made two of their 2023 budget phones (A54 and A14 5G) available for the US.

                    Why?

just noticed that this phone's specs are similar to realme narzo 30 5g from 2 years ago

I have the 4gb ram 64gb storage version of this phone and its ok. one of the reasons i bought it was because it has a microsd card slot since after almost losing a bunch of files on my old phone(motherboard failure), im very glad to be able to save all my important photos and files to something that i can still access from my computer, even if this phone breaks. I also am very glad for the headphone jack, i do not like bluetooth in general for a variety of reasons, so im glad that i can use wired headphones. another reason i chose this phone is because it supports verizon sim cards. the phone is a bit slow though, which is understandable since it was only $100. ive had some issues with mobile data though. i was unable to use my old(4g lte) sim card, with the phone saying it was not activated, even though it worked fine on other phones(including my old *5g* phone!!!), and i had to use the 5g sim card that came with the device, even though 5g coverage is worse than lte in my school, where i do not have wifi. sometimes mobile data does not work until i restart the phone or remove the sim card, and sometimes i do not receive messages until hours/days after they were sent to me.
some of the other things i really dont like about this phone though, are software related. i do not like that the bootloader cannot be unlocked. all the other phones ive ever owned have been google pixels, so im used to the stock android ui, and i do not like oneui at all. looking past the appearance of oneui, it is in my opinion not a good android distribution. features that i appreciated on pixel phones, such as the ability to silence specific types of notifications in an app's notification settings, rather than silencing all of them(for example on discord, i liked silencing server notifications while setting dms to make a sound), was very nice and i cannot do this in oneui. i wish i could switch between using lte or 5g manually like you can on many other android distributions, since like i said, 5g coverage is bad in my school. i also miss being able to turn camera access off for all apps. in oneui, there is only an option to toggle microphone access. i find this incredibly suspicious, since whenever i boot my phone there is an app called "com.sec.android.app.camerasaver" that uses my camera for a moment(which did not happen on any google phones ive used), and there is no way to remove permissions or uninstall it.
on the topic of apps that i cant uninstall, there is so much bloatware on this phone. the amount of apps that came pre-installed is insane. there are so many unnecessary apps that i cannot delete and can only disable, such as onedrive, ar emoji, chrome, and google meet. there are also many apps that i cant even disable, like samsung internet, samsung free, and reminder. i already find the amount of google apps that cannot be uninstalled on pixels to be annoying, but the fact that there are more of them on a phone not even made by google is concerning. there were at least 20 apps that started installing on this phone after i set it up. i had to delete facebook 3 times because it kept coming back. i dont understand why samsung does this when all these apps take up half of the phone's already limited storage.
if oem unlocking was allowed i would probably not care as much as i do about bloatware, but samsung doesnt want customers to fully own the phone they *already paid for*, so whatever. its not bad but i really would not recommend it unless you *need* to use a verizon sim card and really want the headphone jack and sd card slot.

I remember getting my grandfather this phone 4 months ago. Until then, he had an old nokia phone that was really, really slow. Firstly, he asked me how do I open it, how do I call someone on it and how do I chat with someone. I told him the many things he needed to know at the time, and I never saw him more exited about somthing. I had the fun of my life and he did too. But anyways, this phone is pretty decent, I've tried it myself and it's pretty good!

I own this device and all i can say is, its a very nice phone, it has a large amount of storage (up to 128gb), it has a very good camera quality and very good stabilizer, and battery lasts a whole day

I noticed that fast charging is not constant always.
as soon as I plugged the charger it take 15W as specified for A14
after a minute or so, it drop to 10W. and sometimes further drop to 7W
intermittent 15W charging but it not last long. phone most of the time charges at 10W
A14 5G Exynos version. India firmware.

It has a worse camera than a several years old iPhone 6S. 12 mpx > 50 mpx apparently. The A12 at least was thinner and had an amazing Blue (teal) color. The A14 is bad.
