Been using for 4 months and heats up for basic tasks, the bootup time is crazy long, opening apps is slow too. And i accidentally dropped my a14 last week and my cpu got reballed for like 5 or more times and still sensitive to very small impact. This also sucks at multitasking and since this is a budget phone this is clearly not good for gaming or like me doing delivery because this specific phone is too weak for the vibrations

    I switched to this from the A03s. It feels less pleasant in my hands, because the edges aren't rounded.

      Anyone else having call issues? I cant be heard by person on other line. I have to enable loudspeaker on my end. I have volte enabled and wifi calling disabled. I thought wifi calling was the culprit since that solved the issue momentarily after disabling it. Network set to auto 2g/3g/4g/5g.

The last thing I need is another power supply. I already have at least two dozen of them. From all tablets and cell phones I have owned in the past. Or from Samsung credits with a tablet or cell purchase that I needed to spend on something.

        Plus, all my APC and Cyberpower UPS units have a usb port, that can be used for charging. Or my PCs and laptops too.

          My old phone was a Samsung Galaxy, I bought this thinking it would be familiar for me. I'm highly disappointed. I spent 2 days trying to charge the phone, mo charger came with it, just a cable. I didn't notice that the connector on the bottom was different, but it just kept discharging . I did a search and found Samsung made up for lower price by requiring you to buy a charger. That should have been in the ad.
          Also very uncomfortable with the location of the on/off button . I have to look to see where it is to turn it on. With all previous Galaxy phones the button was always at the top. Don't think I'll keep this phone. The later Android version doesn't make up for the short comings.

Shouldn't Gsmarena mistaken on the a14 5G photo Gallery ? The pics from A14 5G are amazing - I've seen some other photos from the same device on other webpages, and quality pic's didn't come even closer. Something here is not right.


            Is there any mistake in the photos taken from the A14 5G in the comparison section? it's so beautiful.

                Do NOT buy this at any cost. My parents got this for my grandfather's birthday, and it LAGS ON SETTINGS. Even 2018 phones like the S9 does better in terms of performance

                  Kid in school says to me that he has same phone as me because they look the same (It turns out he was talking about a14 and i have s24). Thats crazy.

                          This model is almost 2 years old and the a16 just came out so I was able to buy a new a14 for $60. It updates to Android 14 so it's good thru 2025. This is an entry level Samsung and you won't mistake it for a $500 phone but it meets my needs at a great price. Satisfied.

When you plug this phone it te... moreThis is not a Mediatek issue because I also have Tab A9 using G99 and that shows correct charging time. It is a bug with the A14 software. If you go to Device Care -> Battery, it will show correct charging time. Only on the home screen is not accurate.

                              Has defectuos camera. In long time recording the camera is shaking, i mean ... the screen was changing the size, zooming in - out repeatedly very fast by itself. Very curious. Never happened something like this with another phone 🙁

                                Currently my main phone, pretty decent overall. Good ui but semi-poor optimization. Tends to have touch issues as well, such as the touch not registering. Get if you need to, but otherwise look for something like the a25.

                                  I really dont like mediatek. When you plug this phone it tells you approximate time when charging is done. After you plug it, it says 4 hrs then 2 hrs then lower but still not accurate. While on my other type c samsung phone with exynos, it gives approximate time consistently, doesnt change and is accurate. Both budget samsung phones and used the same samsung type c charger.

                                    Brand new and up to date but the display is so bad. It stalls or freezes while scrolling and typing! Most annoying when typing, it cant keep up. Literally while typing, letters stop appearing while you type!

Using the T-mobile network with US Mobile. It works perfectly fine here.
