I was given this as a company phone. It is way worse than the A13... Samsung really did something there... Same specs but the A14 was unusably laggy and slow... No software updates yet to fix it... All colleagues have the same issue, so I was not just unlucky.

Motorola wil... moreIf storage is really for you get the moto, otherwise get the a14 5g because 6gb of ram is enough for most people and storage can be expanded using microsd, the performance is a bit better in the a14 5g if you get the exynos version but camera is a bit better in moto g73, also it has 120hz instead of 90hz of a14, overall you need to choice between better software support and performance or better camera and display

Motorola G73 5G or Samsung A14 5G (6GB/128GB). Motorola will only issue one major Android update while Samsung will issue two. Motorola has more RAM and storage capacity but on the software side, Motorola is allegedly the worse choice. Which one?

Reducing options = fewer customers.

In fact, I have seen many budget customers complain in these comment pages about not being able to buy smaller phones anymore.

LamiaLove, 16 Jun 2023Unfortunately, the people have voted with their wallets and... moreIf the only midrange phones available are big and that’s what someone buys because there’s nothing else in their price range, that DOES NOT constitute “voting with your wallet”. It's called "making due with what there is, as opposed to what you would have liked".
In fact, recent articles talk about Samsung’s 2023 smartphone falling sales. While you can read the whole thing on your own, here's one pull-quote:
“...and most importantly, the abrupt fall in popularity of Galaxy A-series mid-rangers.“
(You can Google that quote to find the rest of the article if you so wish.)
