I'm back again, thanks guys for the overheating issue answers, anyways, so My brother has An A24 and it has RAM Plus, which can be up to 8 GB RAM, so, does the A15 has this feature, bcz 4GB is not good 😑

Sam, 13 Aug 2024Anyone had charging issues with a15, it is slow charging i ... moreYoung need to enable "fast charging" in the telephone settings

Aizazjaves, 16 Aug 2024Plz anyone tell me about Always disply on?? is this phone ... moreAlways on Display (AOD) is a feature, when you "turn off" your screen a simple visual will show up, usually it shows date time and notifs. This consumes just a small power.
Imagine a pitch black screen with text in it, that's what AOD looks like.

I'm thinking of buying this, but decent durability is important to me. How is it? I have the redmi 9 and I was satisfied with its durability.

Sam, 13 Aug 2024Anyone had charging issues with a15, it is slow charging i ... moreThey're bigger and more powerful batteries now always getting more powerful so you totally need the charger it came with and to charge it in a wall socket which takes 2 hours with a 15 watt charger and 1 hour with a 24 watt charger, it gives you 2 to 3 days of charge depending how much you use it. If you play a game or watch HD videos then it will be drained a lot faster so plug in the charger for that.

You can't use just the usb cable to charge from a computer or it'll take 6 hours it's the same on all phones currently being sold because it's not specially adapted to these new phones. You'll have to contact where you brought your phone to get a new charger but make sure not to lose it again because you need it.

This phone is not bad for the price, camera not bad ,of course A series has better battery ,heilo G99 not bad , love the amoled display but i wouldn't buy it for heavy task

Joseph, 10 Aug 2024Ty 💙 You're welcome. But... I decided to keep it. Can't afford Pixels any longer, so... yeah. Gets the job done. A little slower, but decent enough. You get a really underrated feature: Modes & Routines. Connoisseurs know what I'm talking about. Samsung... well, they never offered too much: imagine getting a MediaTek 7030 and 6 GB RAM and OIS and IP54 for the same price! Happy they included an AMOLED screen; nice update policy (though you're getting updates every 2 months - had May 2024 and now July 2024); usable cameras (front and main) and yeah... that's about it. But it is a very cheap phone, guys - paid 110 Euros for 4/128 GB. I mean, you can't really get too upset about performance / features. To be honest, I think I'll start upgrading often and cheap rather than expensive and rarely. Yeah, if the A16 brings something noticeable to the table, I'll buy it. If not, I can always wait for the A17 and so on. No more expensive tech for me, no sir. Probably gonna buy a cheap WiFi 7 router in a few years and desktop AMD APU in the not so near future (waiting for RDNA 4 APUs) when they'll hopefully fix WoW crashing. :D
                                  Have a nice month all!

Anonymous, 09 Aug 2024Well I think it's heating quickly but not that bad act... moreHad mine for since it was first released, no heating issues at all. Helio G99 uses A76+A55 architecture, so It's no stranger that it warms up whenever the A76 is required or needed by the phone to run a task. This happens especially when you use the cameras long enough, multitasking, screensharing or even videocalling. Because those tasks require a lot of memory and processing power thus the 2 A76 cores are needed to run in order to give a smooth experience. It light tasks or apps it would only use the 6 A55 cores.

But compared to the other brands that uses the same chipset, A15 is the one with the best optimization. I've played games within it and compared it with a POCO M5 or the Infinix Note 40 and I can confirm A15 4G heats up the least and gives the smoother experience throughout a 30 minute game session. Stability is good, but after an hour, GOS (Game Optimizing Service) would nerf the performance to minimize throttling. So phones like M5 or Note 40 would overcome A15 after an hour because they don't have GOS, but this leads to more heating for them. While A15 stays cool at around 41.1°C, compared to the others 43-46°C.

The cameras are also the best for the segment. It offers good HDR and Night Mode. Samsung had optimized the A15 very well. The only minus is probably the sAMOLED display here which isn't the brightest or the ones that would give you that vivid AMOLED feel but it does give you a sharp view and true deep blacks.
