This phone has proximity sensor issue. Used it without screen guard and cover, still problem persist. Not a good phone to buy.

Loco, 31 Jan 2024Your wrong. RAM plus doesn't decrease life on a phone.... moreNo, "RAM plus" or w/e people want to call it these days is also known as a "PAGEFILE" in Windows, "Swap" in Linux, etc.
It uses storage space as memory. RAM has countless I/O read and writes, and using storage for that will wear it down faster depending on how it's being used.
If you don't keep your phone for more than 2 years, then who cares? But if you are like me and like to repurpose / root / develop on Android phones then an old phone still has its use and it's a feature that will destroy the phone faster.
Don't fall for marketing. 4GB was put on there on purpose in the US market, so that you must have feature on so that the phone runs out of commission faster and you replace it sooner as most in the US "can afford to do so."
That's the real reason why phones from Samsung launch with inferior specs in the US market, and why international versions mysteriously don't work properly on all networks until you root them.
At any rate, the lack of true dual sim w/ microSD or "SIM 1 + sIM 2 + microSD" capability gives the phone a 3-star rating in my book. Because, again, they force you to use the device's storage and run it down IF you want to use two SIMs.

Samsung singapore website has outdated list of phones which support samsung pay. Went to samsung experience shop, guy claimed A25 5G is supported but not A15 5G. Can't experience since he can't unlock demo phone. Called samsung singapore support. Also claimed A25 5G & even A34 5G are not supported. Don't be fooled. Bought A15 5G. It supports samsung pay & even secure folder.

It's just a feature in case system needs more than what it has which it's an extremely rare cases. You can have ram plus on and that doesn't mean your using phone storage right away. It's only a feature and in rare cases it takes that percentage for ram. And again this doesn't effect phone life nor it's storage.

However, like the Galaxy A24, it may not have official support for Good Lock, so you should look for alternatives such as Fine Lock or Nice Lock.

Does the Galaxy A15 5G support GoodLock? Can this series be used to crop images from Google and gallery to social media applications? Does the edge panels cropping feature run smoothly?

This chipset should have been in the A24 5G (if Samsung released it), and Samsung should have at least kept the Exynos 1330 in the A15 5G, if an Exynos 1430 wasn't in the plans (and, in fact, it isn't in this time).

Be aware the US model only has 4GB RAM, 128GB storage. SIM tray is only either 1 SIM + 1 SIM or 1 SIM + MicroSD, it is not the tray with 1 SIM + 1 SIM + MicroSD.
Phone does seem to work on Verizon 5G (and Visible) and Tmobile no issue.
Samsung initially had it say that the US models had 8GB RAM but has since "fixed" the pages. I know one thing, it will be my last Samsung purchase. The phone has 4GB RAM, unless you count "RAM plus" which is not real RAM and will run down the life of your phone's storage.

In 2 weeks time my phone LAG & heat up screen. The apps move by its self. Don't buy Samsung a15 5g. Before my phone is realme 8 5g no problem.
