Samsung Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G debut in the US

The Samsung Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G, unveiled last month, are now available in the US.

The Samsung Galaxy A15 5G comes in a single 8GB/128GB configuration with two color options - Blue Black and Light Blue. It's available for purchase from Samsung's US website for $200 and on Amazon for $220.

The Samsung Galaxy A25 5G comes in a single Blue Black color with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and it's on sale for $300 through Samsung's US website and Amazon.

The Samsung Galaxy A15 5G is powered by the Dimensity 6100+ SoC and runs Android 14-based One UI 6. It's built around a 6.5" FullHD+ 90Hz Super AMOLED display and packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W charging. The smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and four cameras - 50MP primary, 5MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 13MP selfie.

The Samsung Galaxy A25 5G has the Exynos 1280 chip at the helm with One UI 6 on top of Android 14. It packs a 6.5" 120Hz FullHD+ Super AMOLED screen and a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W charging support.

The Galaxy A25 5G has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and features a triple camera setup on its rear, comprising 50MP primary (with OIS), 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro unit. It has a 13MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls.

The US has high prices. Those specs are totally unrealistic for the US market at those prices.

A15 is okay, but the A25 is the star of the show. $250 for what is essentially an A53 with a headphone jack.

Oh. S21+ (USA) will not get Android 16 but will get a year of security patches. S21 FE will get Android 16 though. S21+ is 350 USD refurbished tops. S21 FE is 300 refurbished. Anyways, I'd go for an old flagship than new budget.
