SAMSUNG, please don't remove the port for wired earphones in your future phone models. If you do for some reason of engineering, then develop an earphone that will receive Bluetooth signals far from our ears and brain (half-wired earphone. Necklace design).

Dunno why they got rid of the headphone jack here. I could understand if it was a mid range phone or high end phone but are we really cutting them out on entry level stuff now? It just makes me sad 😢

I'm a little concerned about its photo capabilities. It got a lower score than its predecessor, the A15 5G, on DxOMark. Sadly, landscape has changed and I cannot compare A15's pics with the ones from A16 on GSMArena. But, at first glance, indeed, pics seem a bit blurry on A16. So sad with Samsung - they seem to cut costs a bit too much. I don't think they should focus on updates that much: 3 OS + 4 years security is more than enough even for midrange phones. I'd rather have 6 GB RAM base storage and SD 6s Gen 3 than 6 years of updates.

Samsung offering 6 years of updates, yet, only the 4GB ram model is available to buy in my country??? Is this a joke? How can samsung expect a phone with only 4gb ram in 2024 to even last 1 year let alone 6 years.
Offering 4GB ram in this day and age is shocking. 6GB ram should be the bare minimum.
And why even have different regional ram variations? Why does one country get 8GB ram model, and a different country only 4GB ram? I really don't understand this. Can someone please ezplain. Apple never do this with any of their products. They usually offer the same spec models worldwide.

Will Samsung A16 5g be sold in Canada? No, there is currently no talk of a Samsung Galaxy A16 5G in Canada. Possibly it will be sold from the month of November. Price in Canada is CAD 390.
