Yes... In the battery 🔋 category, slightly faster, slightly better performance. Animation improvements. Go for it

There you go, it does the double tap wake up thing, but by definition that's not AOD, it's actually better.

AOD doesn't stay all the time, it only occurs when you double tap the screen & it doesn't drain battery at all.
