Not bad for a mid-range device. I don't get the hype about gaming on Phones and all. If you want to game, then get yourself a console or a PC. If you're using it for its intended purpose then you shouldn't have any complaints at all. I'm getting myself one in a couple days. Awesome device.

Because out of the box the a21s screen is yellow/green, you balance it out by adding an color overlay that boosts Red + Blue. This changes the calibration of the display that can make all colors look more accurate, but it's not a miracle cure. The subpixels on the a21s simply can't reproduce vibrant colors. If I were you I'd look at the a31 or a41 which costs not that much more but has no faults imho.
Not sure how to "upgrade" it to normal One UI. It's only Core which means it doesn't have Knox folder and you can't download it via app. sorry. You'll have to try the a31 or a41.

A21s isn't great with low light and there's no stabilisation unlike with the a51. This youtuber has one of the most in-depth a21s camera tests & compared it to the a31 and theyre close, so maybe look for the a31 which has a better screen: youtu.be/2jVb4_oSKlo
Still, the camera is more than good enough & much clearer than Nokia and moto Gs in this price range. Samsung handles dynamic range and clarity better than either of them, though moto g phones have better night mode for low light. Don't know about the other brands, sorry.

In your previous comment you talk about fixing the TFT display with an app. Can you please explain more because I don't understand. I would have love the A71 because I love long dimensions and it is quad camera, but the price is what I can't. I love a phone from 163-167 in height, a quad camera in a square setting not a straight line like the A21, and a 128GB with 512GB expandable. I haven't seen another of the A series with this specs with similar price, except the A71 that is expensive for me

This phone costs much less than them, but I got the opportunity to test A51 & A50 cameras. Honestly, their cameras are comparable or worse than other phones in this price.
For example, Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 & Realme 6i picture quality is better than A51 in low light.
Realme 3 picture quality is MUCH better than A51 with Gcam.

Its 8MP selfie camera is better than 16MP camera of my other friend's Huawei Y9 Prime 2019. Even better than Infinix Note 7.
It's completely different from other 8MP camera phones. For example, Realme 5i 8MP selfie camera is much much worse than it. Even with Gcam/Google Camera.
I know Tecno & Infinix phones tend to have "whitish" selfie pictures, but they've reduced it quite a bit from previous model (although still present).

It might be one of the best cameras in the sub $180 range. 48MP mode is stunning, though you can't use zoom or portrait blur in that mode & the file sizes are huge so it's off by default. The camera isn't the problem.
It's the screen that holds it back. I have TFT screen phones from 5 years ago that have much better color reproduction. If you don't mind dull screens it's still highly recommended.

Hi. Does anyone have an issue with notifications? The screen remains dark, but sound is triggered with the incoming notifications. All the settings are checked and turned on.

Amazing phone for the price, even with 3gb. But the PLS screen is seriously bad. You won't see any vibrant colors at all. It's bright enough, but saturation always looks washed out and dull. It's also not calibrated well & looks yellow out of the box, but you can fix this with any color filter app to balance out the whitepoint. There is no stock setting to change color temp so you'll need a third party app.

it Should Full ONE UI 2.0 .it is ONE UI Core 2.1 that's why it have't Secure Folder,AOD,Screen Recorder, Bixby..etc.
I would Recommend for that device in Future Push Full ONE UI 2.0 for A21s.
