Software is different and hardware is different. Mainly all the software is control the hardware. With the suport of software
1. phone can work fast
2. Can work slow
3. apps can getting crash then and there
4. can stop some functions
5. can control the privacy settings (collect and sell your datas and get some additional income)
6. can heat up phone (without optimize the apps probably).
7. can stop switch on or off function.
8. Can damage phone boards or circuits (like A30).
Samsung We have some additional question?
1. Why when we setup the phone for the first time in google play store why google apps are updating after the social media apps, even if take alphabetical order google apps name are coming before that social media apps.
2. Some apps (except google and samsung apps) we can't disable or force stop any other apps in samsung settings options. Does it works in background and spy our data?

Many other smartphone brands can reach that long.
And A22 got same support as m series m22.
That means the build quality is around the same with m22.

A22 will only get 2 major android updates.
That means 2 years warranty. I don't know if that's good enough for you.

Somebody even got crash on their new m series phone.
Don't buy m series for long term plan usage

I bought it, it has good battery life, i rarely watch something with higher than 720p so hd+ is fine for me
