Shifted from redmi note 12 (6gb) to a24 4g (8gb). Though overpriced but a much better phone than redmi overall.

Samsung always focus on flagship and their midrange is very slow. In 2019 when I bought a new phone I compared samsung very slow than other brand in similar price. Then I bought Huawei nova 5T an amazing phone still using who's quality and performance is almost similar to Galaxy S10 except water resistance but price almost half. In 2019 I bought Galaxy A20 for my wife which is as slow as it is not usable. So today when I visit a samsung store to buy a tab for one of my relative's baby, I was viewing a. device for my wife. The salesman tried to impress me aggressively with true and false in various way like superglue. Normally I didn't buy any product without spending some time on it features and review. But the day I was little tired to search in the net and take right decision. Finally I impressed with the marketing and offer of salesman and bought Galaxy A24 8GB 128GB almost similar price of Nova 5T new during 2019. After back to home when I was browsing the device I found some lag on scroll and navigation. Then I install Antutu 10.1.5 in both Nova 5T and Galaxy A24. The benchmark shocked me, Galaxy A24 scored 399634 and 4 years old Nova 5T scored 539411. Then I explored several midrange devices and found Samsung is decreasing hardware feature to cutting cost. Samsung midrange hardware is going cheap and reduced day by day but price getting high. I didn't know that Samsung can use Mediatek, No 4k recording, Slow GPU. I will not prefer Samsung midrange for me or other. Do not believe salesman. To buy any device take decision yourself with the help of internet or from any neutral expert not salesman like me.
