-Display Sup... moreSome people hate OLED because it causes them eyestrain as all OLED displays have PWM (screen flashes on and off at x Hz frequency)
Since this is a Mediatek, exynos concerns do not apply, but still exynos does suffer from heating and poor performance, and lower battery duration, most of samsung's cheap phones are exynos not mediatek (may be closer to 50/50 but don't know)

Just purchased the 6/128 light green color option A24 for my mom and initial impression is the phone is much more smooth and better than shitty Xiaomi and redmi series miui rom,the factory stock rom is at oneui 5.1 and i have turned off auto downloads over wifi options in software updates because i have seen even Samsung s21,s22 series complaining with bugs and ui slowdowns and no burn in protection on one ui 6 as well so this one ui 5.1 is also smooth,i was a long term Xiaomi user only who purchased 5xiaomi device from budget to premium segment category after i bought Samsung Galaxy j7 and j3 in 2015,but after this long coming back to Samsung is good only the display bezels and notch is bothersome otherwise if we ignore those pretty much much better device than redmi note 12 4g and 5g and overall other phones at similar price range I don't know hows mediatek g99 processor gonna perform since i mostly used snapdragon processor phones and exynos on Samsung j7 2015 but hope the g99 is good since its 6nm and in my country 5g will take 3more years so 4g is fine as well,also the battery backup seems good but i set it on 60hz for more battery

SAMSUNG GALAXY A24 4G have a lot of bugs on its software even i upgrade it to android 14 ONE UI 6.0 the shaky screen is still there and its getting worst....

Is this good option for my mom?also which color?i have never used mediatek phones and hows the camera quality just needed good battery backup and decent camera phone for her?also which color is the best?the only thing i hate about Samsung is its outdated front design notch and bezels and Samsung not providing the charger,also Samsung doesn't provide downgrading oneui version so in future i am afraid about a system upgrade slowing down the phone overall as Samsung and most Android brands love to do that to force users to upgrade to new models?on similar price range the only option for now is redmi note 12 5g and redmi note 12 4g,but then tired of xiaomi phones just bought too many Xiaomi in past and right now don't want xiaomi as xiaomi day by day degrading quality on both software and hardware side causing motherboard,camera failures,i also have bit less expensive only around 40$ less expensive than a24 4g which is Samsung Galaxy a05s and 50$ less expensive Samsung Galaxy m14 5g in option, although in my country 5g is useless, basically need a phone for my mom with decent camera and performance with good battery
