My Samsung A3 hangs quite often. It has happened twice in the past two weeks.
Why? And what's the solution?

Neither the touchscreen or other buttons respond - only pressing the power button I can either turn the screen on or off. I can't even reboot by holding the power button.

The damn thing about the this phone is that when it hangs during an app, you cannot do anything. You just have to wait for the battery to drain out. You cannot remove the battery or anything like that to restart it quickly. Just imagine if you have the battery fully charged and it hang up in your hands... -:) -:) -:) -:) -:)

Is this phone good value for money? I would mainly use it for taking photos, listening to music, apps like snapchat and facebook and browsing the web. Does it overheat or freeze and does the wifi drop out?

don't upgrade any mobiles software. My Blackberry Q5 lost it's camera when I upgraded.

I purchased this phone about two months ago as part of a company deal for $230. I had concerns as this device has a small SoC and only 1.5 GB of RAM. However, the phone turned out to be great and I don't have any problems with it. I upgraded the OS first thing, but I have not witnessed lagging or any other issues while using it. Sure, it heats up sometimes, but it only happens when I multitask like crazy. The device is very comfortable to hold and use with one hand, even in a flipcase. 4G hipernet is excellent, I'm very content with the speed. The camera is useless in dim lights, the pictures taken with it are noisy and the focus time is quite long. Making videos is, however quite the opposite. The sound quality on this phone is average, don't believe the HD bullshit. The overall impression that the phone made is good, and I could not be more happy with it.
