For those that are waiting for an update in Europe (Portugal), just updated my A3 (A300FU) to Lollipop 5.0.2, made an factory reset from recovery and its still fast and snappy. New effects and new notifications and i notice that its a little faster on boot up. Recommend the upgrade.

im still struggling to identify the difference between the A3 and the A5. but job well done both these phones are amazing. must have indeed. im so bored you guys that why im actually making these endless post. back to the topic, these 2phones are too dope. lol hahaha, this is what happens when you just bored at work and you aint got nothing much to do but hey its work got to be here 9productive hours. from big guy

Pls the A5 and A3 .. I've had a hard time trying to choose btwn them. And also which is more sleek, smooth, and ummm, you know, better design or has more attractive exterior

I read many stupid opinions!
I own A3 for 3 months now. I bought it after I read and heard a lot about this model.
People, please don't hate something when you're not informed!!!
1. Battery - after installing a propper saving app lasts up to 3 days, which is good enough!
2. There are 2 optional models of A3 - one with 1GB ram and onother with 1,5 GB ram !
3. 3 months and I already got the Lolipop update - so I didn't wait so long...
4. Processor performsnce is great : multitasking, music, chat, reading books - no problem at all! 64bit rate makes it realy smooth - I tested other phones!!!
5. Gaming is also good!
6. Sound quality is super!
7. So - generaly - when you don't know how to optimise your device - don't post negative opinions - you're just embarrassing yourselves!!!
8.GALAXY A3 IS A GREAT MID-RANGE PHONE!!! GOOD PRICE WITH GOOD PERFORMANCE!!!

worst phone I've ever got. processor is super slow. the phone lags everytime. It can lag for 13 seconds just to wait for a simple app (like contacts) to open up.
When people call me, i won't get any calls. But after that i received a missed call.
the only good thing about the phone is its size and battery life.
it is just 4 months of using it and i am thinking of changing a phone.
Usually i only change phone when the network contract is up (2 years).

Very useless phone. Bought like 1 week...hanged...not even a month the hand censor camera thing spoiled...worse phone from samsung
