Samsung a3, a5, grand prime, core prime all 4 are 1.2 ghz Snapdragon 410 chip mobile phones. But the pricing is vast different.
Core prime 10000, 4.5 inch, 1 gb, 5mp, 8gb
Grand Prime 15000, 5 inch, 1gb, 8mp, 8gb
A3 23000 5 inch, metal body, 1gb,
A5 25000. 5.5 inch meta body 2 gb
And
Lenovo a6000 Same processor, 1gb, 8mp. 8gb @ 6999
Samsung has nothing new to offer but just loot on customers

I don´t understand why Samsung is using "Non-removable Li-Ion 2300 mAh battery". The most people don´t like iPhone because of their non-removable battery, so when the battery shoulnd´t work any longer the need to repair the phone. It cost´s a lot more than buying battery and putting it in by yourself. Maybe a reason to not buy this phone? Let´s see how many people are going to buy this phone for this price... I mean it´s just a phone not an robot which does Everything? ^^

I honestly think that it is a little overpriced, and I lost some interest after reading "non-removeable battery".

Oh my. Overpriced. This why Samsung make a loss in profit.

Personally yes i feel A3 and A5 prices are little high but there seems to be several factors people are overlooking. 1st - These are launch prices. When in the history of the world have launch prices reflected reality? Basicly these prices are indicators about the very maximum the given phones could ever retail for (+/- 5%).

Heres a small example of A3/A5 prices in countries it's already available (converted from local currency to Euros [exept Netherlands] for your reading convenience):

                              Taiwan: A3: 231€ | A5: 307€
                              Russia: A3: 251€ | A5: 354€
                              Netherlands: A3: 310€ | A5: 410€
                              USA: A3: 271€ | A5: 337€
                              India: A3: 271€ | A5: 304€

So as you can see the prices are nowhere near launch prices in most contries.

2nd aspect is build materials and size. These phones are meant to be super-slim and super-light while still packing adequate hardware. Im mean looks at the A3: 110g - you can almost forget it's there. Yes you wont be able to play the latest games at max settings or take superclear photos but that's not what these phones are for anyway.
