Anyone using this phone with Android 9 or 10, stick to it. Android 11 has more features, but performance is worst.

Talha0900, 21 Aug 2021Hello is there anyone who is using A30 since its launch whe... moreim using it since launch, no issues at all other than the ramdom touches that i have on screen after i broke it, battery seems to be working just fine but im not a heavy user though, usually charging each 2 days until now (will be 3 years of use by march 2022), my only complain is that this new update made the phone laggy, used to run pretty smooth but this new update seems to be more taxing for some reason.

Its a love and hate relationship with this device.
at the 1st glance, device was okay and was up to the standards.
Suddenly the device turned off and didn't turned back on after around 1 and 1/2 years.
when I took the device to Samsung, they said it requires a motherboard replacement which is almost cost 3/4 value of the device.
Then I took the device to a local repair guy. the issue is in the power circuit.
this has been a common issue in A30 and A50 devices. the local repair guy short-circuit and booted the device without any data loss. and still works fine after almost an year.
if you experience the same no power issue and Company says requires a Motherboard replacement, take it to a local repair guy, they know how to do it for few bucks within an hour.
and don't update to OneUi 3.1. camera image quality gets worst, device become a little slower and lagging. OneUi 1.5 is the perfect firmware for this device

Out of the box this device was buttery smooth with the andriod 9.. now on andriod 11 the ui is buggy and laggy... Ghost touches are starting to appear but they are no a big issue..battery drains fast below 20%.. worst camera in a phone for low light.... its 2 years since i bought this device. Not other issues are there with this phone

In my Galaxy A30 after One UI 3.1 update when I turn off the screen, Always On Display does not work well and the screen sometimes goes static while the Always On Display is set to always on.
The other problem is face recognition animation, which is similar to the Infinity V display while the screen of the Galaxy A30 is an infinity U display.
Please report those problems to Samsung software developers that solve them with an update
