Phone running ... moreYeah me too,I was a bit hesitant though but it's smooth as you said,I wish the performance when gaming could be optimised too since I believe the chipset is very capable,heck I even read somewhere that the first phone with the Mediatek P65 had no problem when it came to high gaming and temperature too,coupled with it's ability to provide a smooth ui interface,Samsung should do better (even though it's a midrange smartphone)

The phone is good and also has 5G, but the gaming experience is not the best because I can't shoot properly.

Anonymous, 03 Aug 2021How is the update which came a few days ago?Yes the update is very very good and phone is running much smoother and now it is much easier to fix the bugs and problems. Any app which is giving you problems it is now very easy to fix. Just go to settings and app show system app are you can fix most problems by clear data for the app. The recent security patch really helps sovereign a lot of problems. Also the three and four g network is more stable

Great news for all A31 lovers and A series, M series, F series.
How to fix camera light sensor draining battery or automatic brightness draining battery. This works hundred percent on all the models above .
1.Remove your phone from Dark mode.
2. Go to settings and select apps, where it says your appa click the opposite side with three lines and an arrow down. Now put show system apps on.
3. Scroll down to brightnessBNR and click on it, now click on storage and clear data.
4. Now go back and Scroll down to camera light sensor and click on it, now click on storage and clear data.
5.Now go back and Scroll down to device care app and click on it, now click on storage and clear data .
6.Now go back and Scroll down to device Health Service app and click on it, now click on storage, click on manage storage, clear all data. If you do this correctly immediately it will take you correctly immediately it will take you back to home screen .7. Now press the power button and turn your phone off . Switch back your phone on in recover, by pressing and hold power button and volume up together on tell phone enter recovery mode. Now use the volume clear cache petition, use power button to select ,clear cache petition. Switch phone off or exit to restart phone.
Now you can switch your phone back on and automatic brightness draining battery is fixed. You can Now use form 100% to 10% charge , the camera light sensor will only use less than 8%.
Please note if you download an app or update an app from Play Store of Galaxy store you have to repeat the process all over again.

Samsung A31 has no screen video option and many bugs also. Hope it will fix in next update please

Werner, 21 Jul 2021Did anyone recieved June or July security patches for A31?The phone is quite good, but the only problem which I am facing is with the automatic brightness consuming 28% of my battery . About a week ago the problem of the automatic brightness and the camera light sensor was fixed, but now the problem have surfaced again, one of these is interfering with the camera light sensor, Samsung my file, calendar app, Samsung cloud, Samsung browser. The last update for this are fixed the problem but now the recent updates for the apps have continue the problem. It is annoying when you have the same problem on 15 models of Samsung

waste of money for this phone. not worth it to use 22000 for this. don't buy.
