I had this mobile. Fingerprint sensor is too slow. Back camera show slightly yellowish pics and you can't change it to original colors. 10x zooming capability. Not satisfied with macro camera shots. It slightly lags, normal people cannot notice the lag. It has not battery percentage option and network speed.

Honestly this phone is my favorite back design. All the cameras are individually placed, no need for a giant island like on the 52 and 72
Remove the stupid notch, make the chin smaller and the design will be perfect

Looking to get this phone for simple usage of Texts, Mails and Social Media. Can any owners here give their review on if the phone can handle these tasks easily?
Moreover, if there are any known issues to the phone such as lags or overheating (not while gaming), would love to know that too.

Had this phone for two days now. I replaced my Huawei P9 Lite 2017, this is my first Samsung smartphone. So far, I think it is a good value for money. The loudspeaker although not stereo is quite powerful, I can't complain. Personally, I don't expect a Dolby surround sound from a phone. The fingerprint reader works just fine. And I like that the screen is only 6.4". I'm not using my phone for gaming, so I don't intend to comment that. Having a good camera was also important to me and this phone delivers in that area too. But having written all of the above, is subjective, other users going to have different expectations

Looked at the teardown YouTube video. It is the plastic mid-frame which is plastic. You just can not put metal screws on a plastic frame.

It has 6.4 inch display which is good but the infinity u cut out on the top is getting a bit old now. The phone might have been more popular if it had an infinity o cutout like the A51 or A52 but overall I give it an 8 ½/10.

Just do yourself a favor, either increase your budget and get the Galaxy A52 or buy Realme, Xiaomi, etc.
