Their phones are just as reliable as Samsung. Not to mention, for the same amount of money, you'll usually get a much higher quality phone from Xiaomi than Samsung.
I sold the A32 and use a Poco F3 now. The difference in every single aspect is simply huge. Surely there's no point in comparing these two devices, but you'll never get a Samsung phone matching the F3 specs for under 350 euro.

Xiaomi phone might be faster..but it really gose down to inside components. For example...Xiaomi might be using unreliable
Cheap battery. Samsung battery last least 5 years without replacing it. Have you checked drop test of Xiaomi phone?

I am telling... moreAbsoultely not true that Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is bad, it was one of the best phones I've ever used, it had great Wifi connectivity to the point where it beats my Mi Note 10 and K20 and other branded phones, I didn't use Mobile Data that much so I don't know about if it had slow speeds but it worked fine when I used it, Camera was one of the best pros of this phone if you used it with GCam, because with GCam you will get a lot better details, colors, and the camera focus is amazing I always take one camera shot of anything and not expect it to be a shaky or a bad image, though the video camera may not be the best for the price I agree.. it also had great sound call quality + automatic call recording, have a good battery as well when it competed with other phones on its time, etc...
Xiaomi isn't bad at all, you just had bad luck with the model you bought.
In fact, I just used the Galaxy A32, performance is very sluggish and slow sometimes, call quality is worse than my Redmi Note 7 and on the A32 I couldn't even use the fingerprint reader because I have installed a screen protector, despite the fact that other phones like my Mi Note 10 had a screen protector and it worked fine with the fingerprint reader.
And in my country, the A32 4G - 128GB cost $253 Dollars while the Redmi Note 7 when I bought it was only $186

I got the Samsung A32 for about 100 euro through my carrier. I've been using a Redmi Note 8 Pro and comparing them both, I can say that the Redmi is a much better phone, even if it's nearly 2 years old.
The A32 has a nice display and that's pretty much where the pros end. The performance is not abysmal, but it's below average for a midrange phone for sure. The camera, again - not abysmal, but average for the price at best.
The charging speed is abysmal, the battery takes forever to charge. The fingerprint sensor is very slow and inaccurate - sometimes I have to press 3-4 times or more before it recognizes my fingerprint. The last time I used a Samsung phone was the Note 3 back in 2013-14. To my surprise, One UI seems to be full of bugs and the overall experience doesn't seem to be very well optimized. I prefer MIUI much more.
Overall, if you're not a heavy user and you can get this phone with a significant discount, it's fine. I'm about to sell it and buy a Xiaomi instead, as the performance and charging speed of the A32 are a deal-breaker for me.

There's a minor issue in A32. The fingerprint sensor takes time to recognise. But it's no problem at all. It will be solved through software update in near future. Never buy Xiaomi. It's a low quality phone. Please trust me. I have used Xiaomi and it was the worst phone ever.

I am telling you this because once I purchased Xiaomi redmi note 7 listening to shop assistant. It was the worst phone in my life. Very slow mobile data speed. Camera too was not up to the mark. I returned it to him with greatest difficulty after arguing with him for a long time and bought A30. That was 2 years ago. Please buy Galaxy A32 instead.
