You mean all new samsung phones (not A20s nor OLEDs) because other companies have IPS LCD (not PLS IPS or TFT).

fmfm, 11 Feb 2021One is TFT and the other is PLS IPS, that's why.What about A31, it has Super AMOLED with a tear drop notch so that can't be the reason. A51 is also Super AMOLED but with a punch hole.

So they've ditched ~411 ppi Super AMOLED FHD+ from A31 to ~270 ppi TFT HD.
I won't be surprised if they do the same for A52 or A53

The chipset is descent with 285k antutu benchmark but 270 ppi for display is real disappointment at this price range.
