For €200 it's good indeed, even if you buy charger. Rocking Samsung Kids btw? :D

Just got this phone and it came with android 13.
Everything is good for the price except it has no AOD and screen won't wake up when there is notification.

Anyway, in very early stages yet "playing" around with it, but feels solidly built & nice looking screen. Got it for 200€ so feels like a bargain so far.
Edit. This is the 6/128-version, don't remember if I said that.
Also, I think the speakers sound great! At least compared to my S21Fe.
Honestly, nothing bad to say so far, taking the price into consideration.
Sure, the no charger-thing feels kinda annoying, if I have to pick on something.

Mine has only one problem.
It's often lose network connection for a minute. Never have this issue with my good old HW mate 9, IPhone 6s, tab s6 lite, tab s7 and my wife's a51. Beside this, it's a good phone.
Btw, I use a super cheap Chinese brand (1$) type c to 3.5 and it works well.

Some user posted they promised to update (Idk reason why not possible) and you have the phone so I was wondering if they did.

Anonymous, 25 Jan 2023They've added AOD?I didn't see it in the specs here, but i just googled it and on Samsungs own site they say it has but on some other site that it doesn't..? I just assumed since it's a Super Amoled screen.
I don't understand that much about the technical stuff regarding this thing, but is it even technically possible that they add AOD with software updates? If anyone knows.
If there's no AOD in it, then one reason i guess, is they don't want the A33 to be too close to the pricier A53..(?) Certainly it would've been technically possible if i understand correctly.

Interestingly the A33 gets better performance score here than the A53. I'm getting the A33 for 200€ in a store here, the A53 is 350€ at its cheapest right now, so absolutely picking the A33. Good price with that update promise as well. I've had only Samsungs for over 10 years(mainly S-series), updating to newer model every 3-4 years, and it's such a solid brand, no major bugs or technical issues that i can recall.
Edit: I'd like to add that this one is for my daughter, not old enough for S-series quite yet 😅..

reyas, 22 Jan 2023just one month old..having microphone issue...caller gettin... moreHi sir. It may seem to have microphone issue. But after updating the device to One UI 5.0 you can turn on voice focus mode so that the other person can hear your voice clearly when you are speaking with them.
