I got an A33 during the holidays and while setting it up I realized all the apps with the exception of 2 have access to my " WIFI Control". I can't turn them off because they're greyed out. I never give any app control over my wifi. Maybe some can give me a fix. But, I won't use this phone until I can control who has control over my WIFI...... In settings search for wifi control.

Just a pointer...do not install Always on display app from the playstore..it hangs the A33 phone...I couldn't swipe on the main screen and unable to open the phone. Eventually restarted by pressing power+ volume down button and i removed the app permanently.

I'm looking for an upgrade from my F1. Would A33 be worth considering? I just want good cam+ decent gaming+ good performance. I haven't used Exynos before so I thought I'd ask. Also, are there any users here who play 3D roms on this phone? I'd like to know about it's performance

There are almost no bugs that will bother you. And it heats up when playing demanding games

ifadworld, 27 Nov 2022Actually this phone main camera is only 12MP (4000x3000). 4... moreAlmost every phone with quad or nona cell bayer shoots in 12MP no matter how many MP camera sensor has. Even S22's Ultra with his 108MP sensor shoots in 12MP and you have no bennefits shooting at 108MP mode unless you want to print it on a billboard wall. I have a strong feeling that you don't know the story behind all those bigger MP count occuring in mobile sensors in last couple of years, but I could be wrong of course.

Most of multi bayer sensors we got today are:
32(8MP), 48(12MP), 50(12.5MP), 54(13.5MP), 64(16MP), 108(11.4MP), 160(10MP) and 200(12.5MP) but they are all Quad bayer, Nona cell or Sixteen bayer sensors meaning they all have pixels made out of 4, 9 or 16 sub-pixels which help with gattering more light get into sensor which improves shooting in all modes but especially using a "Night mode".

Camera results depends on several things not just the camera sensor it self, but also a chipset preformance and ISP modules integrated in that chip, and finally software optimisation. So as you can guess this phone has a mediocre camera results on the edge with bad results, because it lacks chipset power and its ISP is too old. Camera sensor hardware isnt the best either. Quite the opposite, it's pretty old and small in size. Generally speaking the bigger sensor you have on your camera the more better results will come out from it. And this 48MP in A33 5G is among the smallest sensors around with 1/2.0" sensor size. Just to put it into a better perspective, flagships of today are having close to 1" (one inch type sensor) sizes and this one in A33 5G is about half that size. You can't expect a great results from it. It's probably okay for shooting some still photos during the day but filming a video or shooting in the night will most deffinetly be too much to ask

                                      Btw marry Christmas everyone! 🌲

If we want to buy this phone, we should at least 50 euros accessories 😐
