If they use a mediatek chipset it should be significantly cheaper than when they use a qualcomm chipset

Am stuck between going for a34 or the RN 12 pro+,they both seem to have some powerful specs each for a mid ranger,but as usual the RN 12 pro plus has more specs than the a34,am not sure the given 4year of OS updates on samsung really matter because i don't think somebody can be using the same phone for 5 years without switching to a new one,am a samsung user and what i know for samsung os updates,some kills the phone too soon,i don't know of the xiomi,anybody with the xiomi experience??

AnonD-454049, 14 Apr 2023not bad but no one is paying 300 usd for a weak midrange chipsetD1080 is plenty enough for day to day stuff. I don't play games a lot though. The only visible difference is the storage speed, it's USS 2.1 or 2.2 cmiiw, installs are slow but apps open fast.

Anonymous, 13 Apr 2023I used to be like you, choosing Xiaomi/Redmi over Samsung b... morejust because you have a skill issue it does not mean others have it too. miui has always been garbage and those with brains replace it with a custom rom. as for the build quality thing you probably buy dirt cheap low end redmi phones and those do indeed have terrible build quality but the midrange and higher phones all have decent build quality
