Sure wireless buds are nice, but they definitely can be a pain in the ass sometimes. I've tried quite a few different brands and can't really seem to find just what I need, tho I don't think that's possible.
Like going for a jog, having em get sweaty, and then probably slide out.
It's nice to be able to just plug em in and go. But phone companies seem hell bent on reducing options.

It looks like quite a solid mid-range phone.
It's got a decent Snapdragon processor, up to 6 major upgrades, is decent sized, and somehow has between 6-12GB RAM. Everything seems solid to me. Sure, it's not gonna compare to flagships, but this phone should be more than enough for the average person.

Anonymous, 02 Mar 2025Why didnt it use the Exynos 1480 just like the a35 used 1380Thats odd. Better if a36 use SD 7s Gen 3 then m or f36 use e1480. I think next a series in 2026 was A07 LTE use MTK G100 and 5G use overclocked E1280, A17 use E1380, A27 will use E1480, then A37 will use E1580. Last A57 use E1680 more powerful than SD 8 gen 1 & E2200

No sd card slot no buy I was a huge samsung fan but not anymore. I'm moving to other manufacturers still waiting for the new Android update for my older galaxy phones samsung has lost its way huge huge disappointment

I got both Samsung A35 and Xiaomi K80, Samsung still on December security while Xiaomi is on February. I guess the software support is just marketing and you are just paying Samsung for the name not the features.

No difference between Exynos 1380 and snapdragon 6 gen 3 in performance. Difference is legible.
So, A36 is equal to A26. Difference would be pricing.

Good thing that the thickness has been reduced. But with no memory card now, 256 GB should be the minimum like the chinese phones.

People are going to be siding with a billion dollar... moreIt's not that people are siding with companies removing features, it's just the fact that companies will always look for ways to boost their profits including doing scummy things. Stuff like Bluetooth headphones, cloud storage, and dongles make way more money than ever, and phone companies are taking advantage by removing features like the 3.5mm jack and card slot, forcing consumers to adapt to these solutions.
Same story with disc drives being removed from newer laptops and the updated Xbox Series X because of digital media getting increasingly popular. Sorry pal, that's the reality of the world we live in and you can't change it.
You might as well vote with your wallet and just buy Sony or HTC phones, since they are still keeping the 3.5mm jack and card slot for their phones. Complaining isn't an option.

Of course the jack input in the specs was a mistake and has been corrected...the more you pay the less you get nowdays

Plan to change my phone (Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE) to A36. But strangely looks like my old phone from 2021 might be more powerful than A36. The battery life on old phone has dropped and the connection on 5G NSA network is not as stable as before. The local telcos are launching 5G NSA and 5.5G SA/NSA right now.....so a good time to get a newer phone.

No phone is used without dedicated memory slot because if the screen is broken we can take the memory card and put in another phone even where net is not available.

The biggest innovation in the Ax6 series is definitely the thickness ... I got the A16 to test and you can tell right away
