Samsung Galaxy A36 in for review
We’ve already shared our hands-on with the Galaxy A36 right after its announcement at MWC Barcelona and now that it's on sale we finally managed to get hold of a unit to review.
The retail box is anything but exciting. You get a USB-C cable, a SIM ejector tool and the usual paperwork.

Our Galaxy A36 unit is the Lavender version which has a nice iridescent hue to it when exposed to sunlight. Our very first impression is that the A36 feels noticeably slimmer than its predecessor (7.4mm vs 8.2mm).

Samsung is going for a unified look on its 2025 Galaxy A-series phones with the vertical camera island arrangement. The back gets Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection, while the frame is made from polycarbonate.
There’s a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED with slimmer bezels and up to 1,900 nits peak brightness – a nice boost from its predecessor. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset sits at the helm, replacing the Exynos 1380 from last year’s Galaxy A35.

The battery is a typical 5,000 mAh cell, but just like on the Galaxy A56, you get 45W charging, which is a welcome boost compared to previous Galaxy A3X devices.
That’s all we have for now, check out our Galaxy A36 hands-on review for some early benchmarks and camera samples and stay tuned for our full review coming soon.

I doubt that's the case. Samsung foundry is separate from Samsung mobile. This is Qualcomm's doing. Remember that the SD8 Elite is very pricey. I'm sure Qualcomm made a deal with Samsung for them to use some of those SD6 SoCs, if they ...
