I noticed the 2014 A3 has FM radio and recording but the 2016 A3 only indicates FM radio. What does that mean?

MiSa, 17 Jan 2016Is realy dual sim?yes it's support dual sim, but you should sacrifice ur micro sd because it's dual sim optional, so you should choose use dual sim without micro sd or single sim with micro sd. cmiiw

hey guys i dont understand what it is mean by the protecion (corning gorilla glass 4) does that mean that if the mobile fall on the ground it will not broke or what ?

I'm the proud owner of a A3 (2016)
The best dimensions and body shape of any smartphone I have ever used.
65mm width is perfect for one handed use, easy and feels comfortable in the hand. It's not too tall at 134.5mm.
The phone has a beautiful body, nice frame! looks hot. It's in fact the hottest looking Samsung phone ever.
There are a few differences between the A3 (2015) model and the new 2016 one.
The A3 (2016) has USB-OTG!! Yes it does and I love using it to transfer documents.
There is NO!! notification light! unfortunately, I searched everywhere in settings. Hopefully the update to Marshmallow 6.0 might change things.
NO! MHL unfortunately! Wtf it's upsetting.
However you can use Chromecast, which is good and there is Wifi-Direct, which you could try to connect to other devices.
I noticed on the YouTube app, there is a mirroring function, which means that YES!! you can screen mirror YouTube videos to your tv!! But only by using the YouTube app, so that's a relief!
I hope there will be a MHL converter, then maybe that way you could get wired output to tv.
I'm also very surprised to have noticed that when I plugged in my A3 (2016) to the tv USB socket, which the data cable, I was unable to view my photos and video recordings!! Wtf!

The A3 (2015) edition, does have Screen Mirroring function!! Which is good!! Woohoo! And key backlit timer.
No LED light notification in settings, unfortunately

No blue led like S6 telling unanswered calls and messages, but with Noled app works nicely. With close sensors on and book cover the screen goes on and off with the cover flap. Very handy!
Generally very pleased with A3(6) even I also have S6.

Hello, I bought a Samsung galaxy A3 (2016) because in samsung site says that Galaxy A3 is compatible with Gear S2 but it does not work.
So I contacted with Samsung Customer Care and the explained me that Galaxy A3 (2016) is not compatible with gear S2 but Galaxy A3 (2015) is compatible with gear S2 (WTF).
Then I asked for the information when it was shown that my phone not was suported and their answer was that they just can cofirm it and there is no way to find this information.
I am wondering how do you can guess watching their site compatibility section of gear S2 wheter they are reffering to Galaxy A3 (2015) or Galaxy A3 (2106)?
It is something annoying...
