To get stellar battery life, even years after release, you must purchase phones containing efficient processors, such as Exynos 7570, 7578, 7580, 7870 (shoutout), 7880, 850, 1330. Qualcomm had some ones in Snapdragon 620-629 if I recall correctly. MediaTek likewise.

Samsung added 2 touch switches for multitasking and going back... Def my next phone as I wanted to buy it in 2017 and 2019!

I still use my A3 and I would continue to use it if the fingerprint sensor would work reliably. But it doesn't, it unlocks the phone sometimes, maybe 1 or 2 times out of 10 tries. Slowish and low on memory, but reliable and all-round good phone. If only the fingerprint sensor would work more often.

It was 2 years ago when I thought my a3 was finally passing its use by date. I tried s10e, iphone 13 mini, google pixel 7a but still was using a3 as my spare.
Sadly all 3 let me down. Iphone 13 mini was great but the photos were always bluey and dark, the format had to be converted and having no fingerprint scanner was an inconvenience too. Other 2 turned out to be lemons.
Now I am back to using a3 as my main phone. It's actually better than all three. Apart from internet speed being rather slow, battery still lasts me a day, with decent camera and audio. Now I don't play games anymore the space is no issue.

To be honest, I had a samsung A3 before, it was amazing at first but the storage was getting really low, really fast.

This is the best phone i ever had, all apps working fine except for the lagging web browser in few sites lately, never crashed since i bought it in 2017, fit in all pockets, a hardware proximity sensor that never fail, 3.5 jack and micro sdcard, just uninstall and disable unused bloatware apps for keep the storage free.
Still didn't find any good replacement for this awesome phone at an affordable price.

I purchased this phone around feb 2018. It was slowing down and had minor issues, so I had stopped using it for a year and got myself an iPhone. As much as I love 5G connectivity of my new iPhone, a3 is actually a lot easier to use overall. I took it to a repair place and they fixed all the hiccups I was experiencing for free of charge. Now this phone works like a dream.

I am using it for 5 years, its the toughest phone i ve ever used... if it was 4 giga ram and 32 or 64, I would keep him forever

what person decided the best place to put the loudspeaker is on the top right of the phone? i thought the early A3 models having the loudspeaker next to the rear camera was dumb and then this exists stupid choices is why the early A3 models barely sold much units
