Good size and standard spec smart phone. However easily broken (back panel and screen). Also frequent unnecessary Samsung apps uploading incessantly. Not pleased with this purchase, will not be buying same phone again.

I'm from Finland and I have got the Android 8.0 Oreo update and also the 1 june security patch. The phone works amazing without any problem. I have also Galaxy A8 2018, but it's still on Android 7.1.1 and that's stupid..

Phone became very slow since the update, has a lot of lag. Also for some reason when i go to device maintenance it keeps using up over 300mb of storage, all my apps was moved to my sd card bud still over 300mb keeps disappearing every time. Update is nice and all bud makes the phone very slow and laggy

In the meantime, you should refrain from installing the update if you haven’t already, until there’s an official all-clear from Samsung. The fixed update would be different from the one currently going out, but since there is no confirmation yet on whether the rollout has stopped, it’s best to steer clear if you have a Galaxy A3 (2017).

Anonymous, 28 May 2018I keep reading worse battery result?...hopefully not on A3 so far no, the battery is brilliant, full day and more with medium using, when i did the update from 7.0 N to 8.0 O, from 100% battery it lasted over 24 hrs, so, my final words is, no problem with the battery with Oreo and A3 2017, satisfied with battery, Edit: i have also the security patch from 1st of April 2018
