You can have your music player on there or calendar, or just time and date. The only thing I can't see to not show is the battery percentage, I hate seeing that all the time on the AOD!

            It does turn off in your pocket and dims according to the surrounding light.

              Why is it that my galaxy A3 2017 these days take longer than before to charge fully? I mean not the 1hr and 38 minutes it used to take before.

There's not many mid rangers 4.7 about how, if you like compact. If you want something cheap look at S3 that's 4.8. I think we need more compact Shamec about the A6 rumours.

In this world of large notched phone, a successor to this is very unlikely, or at least unlikely as compact. I'm personally hoping for a 4.7" midrange Android phone with at least 73% stb ratio and Snapdragon 630 (for efficiency) even without the water&dust resistance but based on the phone trend nowadays, it's merely a pipe dream. Oh, and Galaxy A3 (2017) was never officially released here in my region.

I have no idea when they will announce or release the a3 2018. Maybe never. Who knows. If the a3 2017 meets all your needs, you might as well get that one.

                                I have few questions. First how customizable is AOD feature, does it turn itself off when it's in pocket, and dim in dark. Only reason i'm considering buying this phone is AOD feature, which J5 (2017) doesn't have (but i found apps on forums that enable that feature on any Samsung device, but how it's performe?). Also, how much storage you have after update to Nougat, i read somewhere that you left around 6.5GB (i know i have microSD slot).
                                Is better to buy A3 with AOD feature or J5 and install app to enable it (by specs they're almost the same with few minor difference). I like them both

                                        You are right. It is the problem of charger. Once i change to another one, it takes around two hours to full chrge. Thank for your help!
