so now that you've had both phones, can you compare cameras ? was the quality the same?
also screen sharpness? and audio quality through headphone jack?

Baba Yaga, 15 Apr 2017Witch is the best buy samsung galaxy a3 2017 or iphone sei had the iphone se for 3 days until it pissed me off so much with the lack of BASIC functionality that i sent it back and am really glad i did since all the lack has been easily compensated now with the galaxy a3 2017
things i didnt like about iphone
1. need to bring 2 different cables for charging pbank and phone - 1.1 noone has a charger
2. no direct share/integration with many apps
3. no name editing in photos. not showing details of photos
4. can't direct download anything LOL
5. no camera pro mode
6. safari sucks (chrome isnt integrated well)
7. can't direct call selected number
8. no settings shortcut
9. cant add whatsapp message to contacts favourites
10. fingerprint reader mad slow
things i liked about iphone
1. size (including feel)
2. look
3. speed

shuugii, 08 Apr 2017is this phone is hybrid dual sim or only one sim + sd card ... moreIts a seemingly good phone. The round edges make it hard to hold when taking pictures! It also came without a music app, which is odd, I had to get the official samsung one from playstore. I got the A320FL which is single sim only. Not sure about the gorilla glass but I always use toughened screen protectors anyway. I'm happy with it. (only thing I haven't tested yet is the bluetooth range).

I'd say the dual sim version is the A320Y. (there's no Sim manager in my settings either, which is another giveaway.) The hybrid version seems a little backwards, as you can use 2 sims but not use an SD card, so if you buy it for using 2 sims you can't expand the storage.

Original specs didn't have gorilla Glass. It appeared much later. I really doubt it has Gorilla Glass, it could be just false marketing.

i was gonna get Lenovo P2 or Honor 6X but instead i got Galaxy A3 2017 Gold colour.
reason is because its waterproof, always on display, i like the Samsung theme engine, easy to fit in pockets, looks cute. the new touchwiz UI looks very nice.
the finger print scanner is bad, does not work all the time. i wish i got the Galaxy A5 2017 instead because 5.2 inch screen seems better.

Pros:
1. Fast performance
2. No lags
3. No heating issue
4. Long battery life (1.5days)
5. Fast charging (1.5hours)
6. Good camera
7. Water & dust resistance certified
8. Type-C reversible connector
9. Simply elegant & quality design
Cons:
1. A bit slower fingerprint reader
2. Lack of OIS/EIS (no anti-shaking)
3. Gorilla Glass 4 (scratch resistant quality is not so good, prone to scratch)
4. Sound quality but loud speaker is mid-range level.
Conclusion: Over-all quality is awesome, recommended budget mid-range phone.

i bought A3 2017, like 20 days ago, the phone is no doubt v good, and features are v nice, but i am disappointed with the build and Gorilla glass , I didnt use the Screen Protector and using it v carefully but it got so many scratches that which shows Gorilla glass 4 quality is v low and bad, as I have been using different samsung mobile like s3 mini , S3 and S5 mini which were v good quality and still i have those with me as a backup phone.
