I have Galaxy A3 2016. But, is it me or the 2016 design is better? Battery is also fine with marshmallow. For me it's not worth the upgrade. This 2017 still has 16gb memory, still has 13mp rear cam (no OIS), and still on 6.0.1. Will wait for Galaxy A3 2018/2019 with android O.

Expected SoT for a3 2017: >21h (considering only SoC 30% efficiency, screen size difference was not estimated)

AceShot, 07 Jan 20172350 Battery what a joke.I have A3 2016 with 2300 mAh, and batt is great, 5 h SOT, almoust 2 days long. But A3 2017 have better cpu 14nm, and will last much longer. Batt on A3 2017 will be great!!!

will the 2017 J series have waterproofing too,or is this just for the A series? the a3 2017 looks good,but please not at that price.

Why is this so expensive even for Samsung?
J7 Prime has 3GB RAM and is cheaper. Is it because in Samsung's fantasy world gyro and compass are premium features? Does it even have auto-brightness?

2 gb ram is not enough for OS like Android it would be good enough untill it's iOS and even 16 gb storage not enough, samsung bring up 3 gb ram and 32 gb storage but I like the compact size phone and the design is decent

We can't compare it with Iphone 7 but there is 400EUR price difference between them. If you don't like Samsung because you you can put a 256GB memory card on it them pay 900 EUR for the 128GB Iphone 7. I think that overall price/quality the A3 is a great phone.
