Brush original metal finish at the back, gorilla glass 4 at the front with 2800mAh is going to be an awesome phone. Don't to forget keep the thin and light design

Can someone explain to me why they put Gorilla Glass on the BACK of these phones? It's expensive, it makes the phone slippery, what would be an advantage? I just can't imagine it.
