Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) getting Android 7.0 Nougat in Russia

Peter, 31 July 2017

The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) is now receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update, just under two months after the 2016 model.

The updates for the A5 (2017) and A7 (2017) are not out yet, even though they received Wi-Fi certifications before the A3 (2017) did.

Back to the update in question. It’s currently rolling out in Russia (has been for a couple of days, actually). It bears a firmware version A320FXXU2BQG5 and includes the July 2017 Android security update.

We are guessing this is sort of a soak test and if all goes smoothly, wider availability should follow in a weak or two.
