After 3 months of using the Galaxy A41 I can say that I regretted this purchase. The phone occasionally freezes when writing text messages, web pages open slowly, the screen freezes, bad, very bad ... Even the Redmi 9 that I bought for my family at the same time as the A41, is better and faster in all segments of use and it is twice cheaper ...
The only good thing about the Galaxy A41 are the small dimensions and weight, the battery is good and the screen is great. Performance is very poor ... I do not recommend!
And here is his successor the A42 after only 4 months that the A41 came out.

whyki, 04 Oct 2020When samsung says quarterly it often means in January and t... moreIt is every 3 month on all newer budget devices in my experince have the A20E aswell and it got updates every 3 months. Its in there new policy even for cheaper devices, you get atleast security updates for 2 years. You talking about a device that came out in 2014. This is new, you can read about it online on there offical update sites. Its even on the update list for android 11 and rumors say it will even possibly get 12. The A51 A71 and so on is 100% getting 3 years support. Phones like the A41 will get updates but its no promise on how long. SO maybe you should get your facts rigth before posting.

AnonD-315649, 03 Oct 2020This phone will get android 11 early next year. Android 12 ... moreWhen samsung says quarterly it often means in January and then in October. From my experience with galaxy A3 it got about 4 or 5 updates over 2.5 years of usage so you can imagine how accurate is "every 3 months".

Student, 27 Sep 2020Hi everyone can you do me favor can you who's using th... morehi, I have it for several months now, good screen, cameras are good as well. Processor is not the fastest but it works fine, sometimes you notice that it takes a bit more time to open something, but it's not a dealbraker. I was worried about battery but it turned out to be pretty good probably because of the weaker processor. Lasts me about a day or day and a half. If you're looking for small phone it's either this one or pixel 4a.

St.Peter, 03 Oct 2020There is so much to like about this phone (good screen, com... moreI don't experience any of these things, it's butter smooth for me, battery last all day no problem. I even game mobile legends for hours on high quality and 60fps. No lag. Also for animation you can turn it down in settings. Ive haven't had any issue using this phone for smooth social media and gaming. Would not game any newer more demanding games tho but it works no problem. I now have 58% battery from using phone all day on social media and messenger, even played a game for an hour. Can't find the problems people here complain about.

Battery life on the other hand I find to be quite good, last me full day or even day and a half. As far as I've heard battery life on a41 is better than on pixel 4a.

AnonD-315649, 03 Oct 2020Slow and hot? No this is a very nice and capable phone. If ... moreThere is so much to like about this phone (good screen, compact size, solid build quality), but performance and battery life are definitely a lot worse than I had imagined. Apps can take several seconds to open. It seems that the graphics performance of the chip is so poor that it cannot keep up in multitasking and therefore produces noticeable lags when switching between apps. The response time to commands and inputs can be very slow. I switched from an old Galaxy S7 and it seems like a downgrade in performance. Even more frustrating is the battery drain in standby. And I am saying this after having removed/deactivated many apps and using it only for calls, internet browsing, e-mails and chats. Personally, I am very disappointed with this device and feel like it will not even last me 18 months. Should have spent the extra 130 € and gone for the Pixel 4a.

This phone will get android 11 early next year. Android 12 is also very likley later on. Os security updates 2-3 years. This is what I've found and read. Samsung always push security updates for all there phones for a few years. Not all monthly but this phone get security update every 3 months.

Memphis, 02 Oct 2020Slow and hotSlow and hot? No this is a very nice and capable phone. If you play high end games like pubg or so then maybe it gets a bit hot like any normal phone. If you use phones for calls, messages and social media and streaming video it's very nice. Never notices much slowdowns or that it would get hot without pushing the phones limit. This is really good phone in this price range.

Compact design, oled screen, decent camera and underscreen fingerprint for around 350aud imported this thing is actually a bit of a gem. Just the right size for one handed use. I find it interesting that Samsung didn't choose to sell it in more places. I'm using the European version in Australia and very happy so far. Nothing really bad to complain about, you don't get any haptic feedback or scrolling wallpapers (thanks OneUI) and it doesn't have any kind of water resistance but for the price it's very hard to argue.
