This makes me have high hopes for A42. The overall package is great already. Next year add a slightly mor powerful cpu and do better software management to optimize battery.
Where i live you can get this used for 250€ and this phone is damn good for that price.

I have this phone for a week and I am satisfied. I use it as an average user (camera, social network apps, internet banking, browser, etc..) and it has smooth reactions. I didnt try games or some kind od harcode multitasking. Battery life could be better, even though I switch off wifi when I dont use it, I turned off GPS, synchronization, bluetooth, Always On display etc, I can see how battery lowers in front of my eyes. I hope some update will fix it. I have aproximately 5-6 hours screen on time even though I did all these steps mentioned above

Which is a huge problem that most people don't mention in their reviews.

Samsung's Super AMOLED display is superior, you can see it in everyday use, it's simply magnificent, colors, contrast and light intensity, others don't have that. A big plus of the Galaxy A series is the plastic construction. Your mobile phone will not break when dropped like glass, it is much lighter than the competition, it has much thinner edges than competing devices...etc. My vote goes to Samsung.

Iva, 10 Jun 2020This one or a51? If ergonomics (small size and light device) are very important to you, as it is important to me, then take the A41. The cell phone is great.
If your hand can "withstand" the larger dimensions of the device, be sure to buy the Galaxy A51, it is still a slightly better device.

The main reason to choose the A41 is surely the more compact size compared to both Note 8 and Realme 6 ; and the AMOLED screen.
If you don't mind having a big phone, then I would definitely check the Realme 6 or better yet, the 6 Pro (less heat).
I'm hoping the reviews prove the A41 is a good phone, because I really prefer the smaller size compared to the other 6.3~6.5" ones.
