Awesome phone! Have been using it for nearly three years and so far haven't experienced any hiccups. Battery still lasts for over a day with normal use. A true workhorse from Samsung!

i haven't receive android 13 on my a42 5g (a426b).. will it support android 13 on my current model number (a426b)?.

My wife and I both went from Galaxy Note4's to this A425G. First my wife. Hers was new from a Verizon vendor (uggh!). One of our grandkids dunked her phone in about 4" of water and that destroyed her phone. We had insurance and got a replacement. Her replacement phone is doing very well now. This phone has all the best of the Android OS that we like, even though it has no water rating. A few months later, I bought a "refurb" of the same model, A42 5G, at a popular online retailer. Transferred all my stuff from the Note4, and it was going well. Then my phone was swiped off a coffee table by one of my grandkids, the phone landed cleanly on it's backside, on carpet, and that caused the phone touch screen to be unresponsive and after two days of research and trying everything, there is nothing I can do about it except get a replacement. Oh, yes, the phone was in a good protective case. I hope the replacement lasts, because this phone is otherwise very good and the battery life is excellent. Just a warning to be wary if you get a refurb, because it might be the one I'm returning! Maybe I'll scratch a small "x" on the back of the phone so others can beware?

          Got the phone for free.
Previous phone was a Xiaomi redmi 5 plus also for free.
Going from 1080 to 720 is noticeable dont lie to urself but colours are more nicer here.
My psvita uses a samsung oled panel and that thing still looks good today despite being a decade old and 540p.
This thing got 8gb ram no performance issue here.

Very good camera please help me connect to wifi

60Hz HD display so there's no point in having the powerful chip 🤡
I'm glad they're over the trash mid-rangers phase.

It's funny to think that Samsung also put the Snapdragon 750G chipset on the Tab S7 FE 5G, and yet Samsung has no trouble giving USB-C 3 with video output and DeX support for the tablet. Do Samsung really want people to buy their flagship Galaxy S models? I rather not. That is why I'm happy with my Tab S7 FE 5G.

Whatever happens to the Galaxy A4x? We haven't seen anything about A43 at all.

Hanif Fikri, 15 Sep 2022hahaha 720pGoing from a 1080p with a smaller screen (i.e. higher ppi) to this larger screen with 720p, I hardly notice, and only when I put my face very close to the phone and try to find the pixelization. This isn't a full-size computer monitor, so the lower ppi is hardly noticeable. And this is coming from someone such as myself who is typically very particular about my video (and audio) quality on my tech.

I have had this phone for 1 year and 4 months. I spent $400 on this and I do not regret it. I encountered no issue, no bug, no weird things except 1 or 2 times it froze, and I just simply restarted the phone. The camera is okay, works at very low light conditions, the chrome loading speed is decent, and the operation is overall very smooth. The call quality is decent and I do not encounter anybody telling me I sound like a robot. Noting is wrong with Bluetooth earbuds (Samsung, sony, and Beats). I still have over a day of battery or at least still have power before the night when I get home after a lot of GPS, wifi, and Bluetooth usage. Speaker is good for calls and videos. For a $400 phone, what more can you ask for? A $1000 phone probably gives u $150 max worth of extra improvement in terms of functionality and I am being generous. Unless you really need that extra power in CPU (usually means heat and reduce the battery life as well) and/ or camera or you really like to game on a phone (which I would suggest you go spend it on a graphic card), then yea, pay that extra $600. I think most people sohuld be happy with this phone or similar midrange phones.
