My A5 is still on the software 'Kitkat' when Lollipop has been out a while now.
However whenever I wish to search for recent software it states I am on the most recent.
Anybody else having this issue?

my samsung a5 phone get automaticaly power off and does not open and display is not working and vibration is going on and if we call on this phone number the bell is ringing but we can not see nothing \

Battery life is great. It is also fast charging. 2 things i would like that galaxy a5 has is IC for remoter and fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device, but its mid class phone not first class phone. Only thing i found bad about this phone is that when you go in recent apps their icons arent sharp as they should be,i hope it will be fixed in lollipop update. but everything else is good for the price you pay when buying this phone. Actualy it is even better from what are you paying for. :-) i highly recommend this device

My galaxy A5 have some battery issue. It won't charge after 88%,and didn't turn off after 2%. The phone is turn on over night at 2%..please help me regarding this issue.

I am confused between a5 and Sony M4. Can you please comment on its battery life, software updates, does it lags, screen quality, hardware acceleration, does it heats up?

I have samsung A5, from it is good staff and easy to use. very affordable.

Good, solid mid-range device. In terms of the interface itself it almost functions like a flagship phone.
However, I think Samsung didn't live up to the hype of a "metal" phone. I can decisively say that the Alpha and the Note 4 did a much better job of that.
Sure, I can tell a friend that this is indeed a metal unibody-but I have to go to great lengths as to why because there is so little of it visible (just on the edges). In the end, it's mostly plastic- a bit too much of it considering its rather high price.
In conclusion: 8.5/10; needs more metal.

Good phone for a mid-ranger.

I'm hoping the 5.0.2 update becomes the phone's saving grace. 8.5/10

Plzz those who are against samsung dont say bad things about it, apple is a ripp off,just a waste of money if u ask a real tech person,only 1gb of ram in iphone 6 but 2 gb of ram in A5.and quad core so it should process very good with its official firmware.
