RJ, 11 May 2015I m to buy it...a5 users plz tell me abt otg support.no man...it does not really supports OTG without softwares...but the handset is really cool..i think its the best phone from SAMSUNG till date...specially the gold color A5...u shd go for it

The camera is good, the battery is good, the screen is good but the sound is poor...not worth with its price..even my old phone Samsung Galaxy S2 would sound 3 times louder then A5...

The phone is heating soo much when continously used for 1hour since the edge of the phone is made of aluminium you can easily feel the heat than other normal plastic phones

This phone from the spec sheet seems to be a low cost version of the Galaxy S5, and it is closer to my price range than the S5, plus it comes with ear buds from the high-end.

"I was glad after purchasing. However, after sometime (2 months) I realized following two Major issues. -Sound is not enough while you put it on speaker. (you need pin-drop silence to joy/hear clearly its sounds). -Performance is not good, having 2GB is waste. System occupied 1.2GB to 1.5 GB. So its irritating if you bought phone with 2GB RAM (speedy performance) expectation. Note** Its not about my specific set. I confirmed this on two different Samsung A5 phones, used by my friends." I agree 100%. What is the use of the good looking phone, If it cannot notify you about incoming calls in any condition (indoor/outdoor/crowdy)??? Real bad by samsung. When you build a phone it should serve the intended purpose. I saw half the priced phone louder then this phone. Its unacceptable. Without vibration, incoming calls cannot be detected in most of the situation.

Hi! Is is true that this unit amd A3 has weak signal? I read somewhere that there was some test conducted and it's signal scored Unacceptable? Can anybody who uses this phone confirm that? Also, anybody from the Philippines too?

Awesome phone ! got it yesterday , no heating issue at all , working very smooth even when charging :) camera is awesome , have lot of option for mid-range phone . no lag when opening multiple application . very satisfied.

the hardware is really crap in this price segment ....u can find far better phones in this range...snapdragon 410 is a cheap third grade processor ...
