nice phone, great battery, good performance, not laggish, decent music experience, excellent camera, slim and good looking.

It's about 2yrs old...battery hardly lasts for 4hrs...Any solution?

Hi guys. I'm using Samsung Galaxy A5 for almost 2 years and I have to say that I'm in love with this phone. The only problemd that I currently face is that I have to charge it every single day, as I'm using it a lot - for work and fun. As I can not change just the battery I'm checkig for a new one, but honestly, when I read the comments here, I don't know what to take. I'm a Samsung fan, eventhough I have a couple of Lenovo devices. Please advise if you find some device better than this one. The one that you like better than the Samsung A5, regardless what brand it is.

I had use samsung device with white notification panel , and I tell you it looks good , but not better than current blue one , I think it is fresh looking but no more than that, actually I feel the blue one looks a little better ...
There is some annoying problems after marshmallow .. like lock screen sound effect problem , it became so quite and I find my self compelled to disabling it completely 🙁 , there is more major problem with language, when I set my phone tty I Arabic " which is my mother tongue " , system don't shows battery usage for every app, the battery section is just turn off and shows " 0 " mAh
Vibration feedback is gone if you want to place /or replace an app or widget on the home screen or within app drawer , the amr for soft keys.
There is a syncing problem , actually it not working properly for email , and for some Google app ( play newsstand not refreshing at all ) ..
Battery drains insanely ..
It drops from 100 to 90 after turning on screen after just 20 minutes ( it takes 1 hour and 10 minutes for down to 92 % when it was lollipop ).
My phone got an update a few days ago , it solves the screen blue flickering , and install November security patch ... but unfortunately no more than that ..
I hope Samsung release an update for solving the language problem , and lock screen sound effect ...
I was much happier with this phone before .. I find android 6 better than lollipop specifically in security ...
Touchwiz also on android 6 looks better .. but software problems ruin the experience. .

Hello samsung...i want to tell u that i am using now samsung galaxy a500f 2015 model.....when i bought this phone the factory given android was lollipop....and now i am using marshmallow in my phone by using flashing process....my request to u is that the notification panel in marshmallow is blue...my request to u is to change it into white colour just like the marshmallow given in s6 and s7 models......???looking for your reply......

To day my phone received a new update, and problems still there , even the ultra data saving mode & opera max that came with MM update are gone now , what is very strange ( Why removing app that just installed in the previous update ...
I was quite happy with this phone when it was new ,and now I really disappointed with it and really start thinking of changing it as soon as possible ...
Good job SAMSUNG ....I was a fan of you and your products for years , but now ..... I don't find a words to say 🙁

I updated of mine a couple days ago, now ... moreyeah these updates aren't bettering our phones, they are actually making them more useless so that we can buy the latest models, yeah I'm Samsung's fan but I never will I buy Samsung again...even the main camera quality is poor after the update also the auto focus doesn't work anymore

Had this phone 18 months now, and it works like it did the first day .... wonderfully. Never had any overheating issues, the updates have always made it better. Hope there's still alot of life in the old girl yet.
