This usually happens when you switch from a keypad phone ( Like an old phone with a keypad ) to an Android. And it isnt the phone's fault, the SIM was automatically locked in your old phone. Hope this helped!

I bought A5 from Singapore on day before yesterday. Im in Sri Lanka and today insert local sim and its displays "Sim Network Unlock Pin". I never expected this. Please tell me what can I do for this? Im helpless. I bought from singapore indian phone shop.
