I bought it last 3 weeks, I love it very much! The battery life, camera, gaming, premium design, overall usage experience is awesome. But, something bad happend last 2 days - I accidentally dropped it from a bar top to floor. Precisely, it was my wrist bag dropped, and my phone is inside. No stunning spin/bang in the air on the road landing to the floor, a simple and nice one "boom" and the screen was cracked!! I'd applied tempered glass screen protector since day 1 bought it, nothing happen to the tempered glass, but LCD screen underneath still cracked! WTH! The screen fade out slowly from out-tracked color display, none responsive to touch till totally black-out. What a crap!! 2 things learns
1. Expensive tempered glass screen protector - crap! useless in protecting your screen
2. This phone is only fit to phone pampered user who never dropped their phone - I doubt this group of people exists
Anyway, A5 is history to me, to all happy A5 owner in the forum, hope you take good care of it.

Using this model samsung galaxy A500G since a week and is an excellent performer with it's features like battery back up and HD AMOLED display. So handy to use and looks cute in black color worth for it's prize.

I will buy this phone after 3 or 4 months when Samsung reduces the price around 20k Rs.

A5 is a midrange smart phone. alpha and s5 are premium and most of all is not ips its amoled,

Samsung A5 camera is 13MP and 5MP (Lenovo A6000 has 8MP and 2MP. Most importantly, this is Samsung, people has to pay for the established brand name. Meanwhile, the Lenovo, they are new to this league.

Got the phone last week. It's pretty fast and has a really nice display and camera. Not to mention its premium feel. You just need to hold one to understand. It may be a little overpriced but it's a great phone.

Awesome battery life. After using it for 20+ days, I must say it will last at least for 2 days on normal usage.
