A bunch of stupid phones. Why the camera protrude like that? Is it intended to create wobble on the table? Why is the speaker on the back? Isn't the user supposed to get a better hearing than anyone else around?

That seems the new models from samsung will coming with a metal frame , that make them look more premium than before , and maybe , more durable too , it will protecting the screen much better ( if phone falls on its side ) , and if you still thinking like ( Ohh .. very disappointing samsung still make them from plastic ) .. compare the galaxy alpha to galaxy S5 , while the S5 is beating alpha at almost every aspect ( bigger battery , expendable storage , water & dust proof , bigger & higher resolution screen , better camera , ... etc ) , the alpha price is almost the same price of S5 ( actually the alpha priced higher than the S5 in Egypt ) .
So maybe thanking God , cause that means that if samsung produce an all metal phone , that maybe price at the apples iphone price range

solid snake, 03 Dec 2014hi guys. don't you see that all the phone companies nowaday... moreI think you may missing something here , firstly , I am with you , I prefer a 4" to 4.5 " as maximum .. I think phone that size will be acceptable for browsing the web , or watching videos while travelling , or on the way back home, and still handled easier than a big phone with a 5 " display , and easier to slip to the pocket ( I think a 5" display phone not be so comfort in my pants pocket , if the pocket size enough to carrying it )
But I think we don't need these very fast processors , and that much of ram either , unless if user like to playing 3D games , and for that , yes a big phone or phablet is better than a 4 " phone , and actually the bigger the phone ( not always ) the higher the processor and more should be ( and that if user don't like to carry a real tablet with him or her )
I think what the manufactures and users as well called a mid rang spec sheet , or a mid range phone is more than enough for what the most of users using their phones for ( browsing ,and watching videos ) .

hi guys. don't you see that all the phone companies nowadays are getting mad and senseless. always the next new phone has a screen an inch bigger than the previous one. this one is 5inch.why cant they make phones simpler with a 4 inch max screen. i bet the next phone will be called samsung galaxy trouser. it comes with special samsung trousers that can contain the 20 inch display. take a look at the old yet simple and powerful phones. iphone 4g, htc explorer, sensation 4g. desire s, htc ryme, nokia n8. so beautiful, slim compact. fits right in your pockets. unlike the ugly phablets nowadays. the key is to maintain the normal sizes and to improve the technology in the hardware. simple as taking a dump.

Samsung's gone crazy on pricing these phones too high. They've got the hardware and the looks right but these aren't going to sell as well as they would under $300.
