We will have to wait and see. i dont think samsung knows what they want to charge yet, and maybe want to see what public interest is like prelaunch.

Motorola Moto X (2014) : 400$
Sony Xperia Z2: 360$
Sony Xperia Z3 Compact: 410$
LG G3: 360$
HTC One m7: 270$
HTC One (M8): 460$
Galaxy Note 3: 370$
Galaxy s5: 420$
now you tell me, really tell me is this worth 440$ is this phone even can compete with Note 3 or s5, and who said samsung is good at update? it didn't even confirm anything about update plan to Lollopop

When Samsung gave updates? Dont make comedy. Everyone knows their customer support. outdated hardware with their waste and ram eating software. Who asked them to add their apps top of androd? At least uninstall option should be available. Definitely within two years Samsung market share share will fall in single digit.

Stop whining, Samsung has a phone for everyone...This phone has great specs and is really worth 400 $ at least. If you don't have the money, buy the Grand Prime for 270 $, which is a bargain !
Better than your chinese phone with no upgrade, which will be dead in 6 months hahahaha...

The price is incredibly stupid, midrange specs for 3/4 price of a flagship phone. I mean, seriously Samsung? If the price is around $250 - $300, the phone is much more reasonable to buy. If XiaoMi had their own retailer store around the world, the Mi4 would outsold both the A3 and the A5 4:1.
The Galaxy Grand 2's price dropped a lot by mow, I'm hoping the price of the A5 could as fast, I might get one for myself.

So i th... moreTake a look at motorola devices; if this drops to 300$ maybe yes but the price with these specs should be around 270$ not more (compare to moto g and moto x) metal gear is awsome and weight is balanced well but other things is not good enough to get 430$ from the pocket

16 GB Memory, 13 Mpx and 5 Mpx cameras, fast processor, and memory card too. Seems good to me, probably my next phone if there is Usb-OTG

Going by the leaks this phone is priced north of $500 is what bothers me..
Or else its a good phone among the S400/S410 lot out there.. But at this price I would say go get a motoX first gen you will save a lot of money and you still get the same screen blah blah blah..
Put this phone in $350 zone it might rake the competition
