Samsung A5 really not a good selection. Not getting enough battery duration maximum 1 day. and having many problems since i bought. recent issue is getting blank the screen frequently.

This is the worst phone i have ever had. Can not wait to get rid of it. Constantly dropping calls and i know of others with the same problem.

Dear All,
I bought a brand new Samsung A5 (2016) handset. To my surprise it gets heated to very high temperature and had very poor voice quality in the ear piece.
I raised the same concern with Samsung India Services to the cordinating person as below:

I gave all the proof of poor voice quality with audio recordings and temperature recordings of the handset and submitted to Samsung for further investigations. After that this handset (Samsung A5) was hanging into Samsung Service Center for almost a month and was returned back to me with a reply that 10-15 °C temperature rise is acceptable with this device. I tried my best efforts to get a replacement but all in vein.
Company itself accepts that this device gets very hot to a temperature around 45°C. So you can imagine what kind of device you are holding next to your skin.
New buyers please beware of this Samsung A5 (2016) model. Don't fall into the trap of stylish looks. Looks is all it has and nothing else. Camera is terrible. Voice quality keep on varying during the call. Phone gets heated even when you are not running any heavy application. Now imagine playing some game. It will get so much heated as if you are playing with fire.

Samsung a5 i purchased worst mobile i had ever bought. Consuming huge amount of battery on cell standby mode. Even service center is helpless to solve the problem. Is anyone facing this problem.

I got the Samsung A5 at the beginning of June and have had NOTHING but issues! I have been back to the mobile stand I got it from twice and not much help. They replaced the Sim card the first time, but that did nothing. My list of problems:
1) Doesn't always connect to my Bluetooth in car. Have to try a few times to connect.
2) Interference during calls. Will be in a call and it goes all gargly. Whomever I am talking to cannot understand me and they sound like R2D2!
3) Freezing. Does this at least once a day and I have to reboot the phone.
4) Dropped calls.
5) Latest issue...not connecting to internet! Doesn't matter if I try Wi-Fi or my Data. It says I am connected, but when I try to log into Facebook, email, internet explorer, etc., it says no internet connection.
This is by FAR the worst phone I have ever had. I am with Virgin mobile.
