It's very nice all-in-all, but it's just 1 thing that worries me : fingerprints on that glass back. How bad are they visible on white ? Because on black version I think it's terible...

I would like to buy a5 but its front cam don't have flash light.... so which one is better a5 or j7.
looks wise a5 is good but what about camera.

I been doing the same research about the A series for months now. There really isnt much difference from the first A5 compared to the new A3 (2016) other than the slightly faster processor. However the A3 has a smaller screen, slighty more ppi, lower ram (1.5GB) and much higher priced in my country. I would still go for the first A5, I made a big mistake in the past for going for a phone with a better processor and lower RAM and paid the price. Nothing lower than 2GB of RAM for any new phone you are thinking of buying I would say.

Hey guys, for those more informed than me : which one is better, in terms of good functioning, camera, display, signal, quality of voice, etc, between this one, and A3 2016 ? Because the first A5 and the second A3 are at the same price in my country, and I would like to know how they are... Or, all-in-all, which generation is better, this one - the first, or the new one - the second ? Thanks in advance.

I have been using this device (SM-A500H) precisely for over a year now. The phone is great for the price. I updated to 5.0.2 and the performance is awesome after the update, the battery got more better. For people still scared of updating their devices, you are missing the awesome features of lollipop 5.0.2.
I wanna share with you the guideline of how to update your device for a better performance. If your device misbehaves after update, that means you didn't pass through the normal update process.
Follow these steps to update your device and thank me later.
1. Allow all the software updates to complete fully.(update over wifi preferable)
2. Update all the apps installed on your device.
3. Allow the play store to get updated, it updates automatically.
4. Clean junk by installing the app like clean master.
5. Remove the SD card (if inserted).
6. Switch off the device.
7. press the home key + Volume up key + power key simultaneously.
8. Mobile phone vibrates and starts in BOOT menu.
9. Select the clear clear/wipe phone cache partition by pressing volume keys up/down and clear/wipe with OFF button.
10. Select the reboot system now and press and press the power on/off button to restart the device.
11. Insert SD card when the mobile phone restarts successfully.

Hi. I have samsung a5. My camera shoots only for 15seconds and stops. I checked settings & i couldn't find timer settings to remove. Can anybody help me? Thanks!

sah12, 26 Jan 2016i am using Samsung Galaxy A5 last 6 months, i am having ver... moreBackup all contacts & apps to sd card.Uninstall all apps.Switch off it.Press vol+ , home & power buttons together to enter in recovery mode.Now cirst wipe cached data partition.Then wipe all user data or hard reset ur phone.Now restart.....Now see if any changes is there or not.If it doesn't resolve the problem,then flash the official Samsung stock ROM of it.See "about device" & note the BASEBAND VERSION & BUILD NO OF ITS ROM AND ITS DATE.Download the same INDIAN Version from SAMMOBILE.COM and flash it by ODIN 3.10 TOOL and hard reset the phone again.Everything will be fine...Bye
